Approximately 60% of sales revenues comes from B2B activities. The company has a diverse client base including large limited companies as well as sole traders. The remaining 40% of sales are generated via consumer/retail sales.

Growth and Expansion:

The current market for this business is growing and is forecast to continue to grow significantly in both the medium and long terms by the emergence of new technologies.

Business operations are not yet at maximum capacity, and there is considerable scope to increase both revenues and profits by gearing operations in line with current and forecast market demands. Sales are generally reactive at present. A more proactive approach to sales and marketing, particularly on the business to business side of things would certainly increase turnover and profitability significantly. The introduction of a website and local advertising would also be beneficial.

Key Opportunities:

• Further development of the existing hard copy database to ensure all opportunities with existing and historical customers are maximised.
• The development of a website and an active approach to sales and marketing to incorporate telemarketing to the large local business community.
• Further expand product offerings to include vehicle tracking, laptops and even fixed line services to B2B customers.
Premises:

The business is run from leasehold premises .Current rent is £7,500 per annum. Rates are £850 per annum. Current lease is for 5 years.

The premises features a large retail area, with upvc double glazed door and double fronted windows, a large counter area for retail phone and accessories sales, plus a seated desk area for contract and business customers. There are a further 2 offices, plus kitchen and wc area.

The rent on the premises also includes 2 private car park spaces next to the building(complete with swipe card access, private barrier car park).

The premises have recently undergone a complete shop fit including flooring, large modern counter, slat walling, display units, lighting, electric security shutters and monitered alarm system.

The premises are situated town centre, opposite Sainsburys and next door to a large electronics retailer making the business extremly visable, as all traffic into the town, heads directley towards the shop frontage.

Business Hours:

Monday – Saturday: 0900-1700
Sunday: Closed

Security:

The premises are secure and alarmed, the alarm being connected to the local police station.
Advertising and Marketing:

The business has never felt the need to advertise in the past tending to rely on word of mouth recommendation. There are excellent opportunities to develop this and market the business more aggressively. A large percentage of clients derive from recommendations and the business has surpassed growth expectations bearing testimony to the excellent reputation the business has earned since inception.

The business has recently invested in a basic web site which needs more development, the web package can be updated, products uploaded etc and would benefit from some additional work.
These represent significant future opportunities to a new owner and there is no doubt that turnover and profits could increase in line with a more active marketing strategy, both to existing clients and target potentials.
