Shaun Sweeney

Background/Experience:Shaun Sweeney is the Managing Director and founder of Turner Butler, one of the United Kingdoms largest Business Brokers for mid-sized businesses, with nine regional offices in the UK and many hundreds of successfully completed transactions. Prior to founding Turner Butler, Shaun started, developed and sold four successful businesses over a sixteen year period, the experience of selling them prompted him to enter the merger and acquisition profession. Having had first hand experience regarding all of the challenges associated with buying, operating and selling a business, he believes in careful planning to address all of the special needs involved in any transaction.
He believes that giving appropriate attention to the needs of both buyers and sellers ensures a smooth and timely completion. He enjoys working with qualified and motivated clients, many of whom are referred to him by previous clients, professionals and friends. He has participated in the buying and selling of many business types. Shaun enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and two sons. |

Tony Bell

Background/Experience: After graduating in 1982 with a finance and stats based Business Studies degree and short stints working in market analysis in the commodoties sector, Tony joined one of the UK's leading West End advertising agencies working his way up to main Board Director responsible for billings approaching 5m per annum. |
Major account experience included the BAA, RAC, Gallaher International, Telewest Communications, Travelex and a wide range of small and medium sized businesses.
After leaving in early 2002 to take a year out to be with his young family, Tony started his own broad ranging Business Consultancy aimed at the small and medium sized business sector before joining Turner Butler in 2004. In just over two years Tony has handled sales ranging from boat charter to wholesale heating and plumbing with transactions ranging from 100,000 GBP to in excess of 4m GBP.

Terry Collette

Background/Experience:Terry Collette started life in Stock Broking as a bought transfer clerk progressing through all aspects including, dividends and sales. in the mid 1970's following that moved into Banking as a foreign exchange trader specialising in Japanese Yen for a large American Bank.
In the 1980's moved into the Insurance market as an independent financial advisor covering all aspects of investment, savings, loans and pensions. Expanding in 1985 into the Middle East opening three overseas offices in different sectors of the Middle Eastern territories. During the 1990 opened a medium size leisure based company culminating in the restructuring of the famous "Tokyo Joe" night club in London's Piccadilly. In 1998 moved over to Spain to open and expand a large Estate agency chain covering the South East of Spain's coastal region including a development group constructing villas to meet the high demand of the UK market. Having successfully sold the company through Turner Butler was happy to move over to join the team |

Robert Toon Background/Experience:Rob has a broad range of commercial experience gained over twenty five years in industry, and enjoys handling businesses for sale. His formative years were spent with Lloyds Bowmaker before fulfilling a number of senior management positions within the retail credit industry where his business won the blue ribbon award for outstanding performance. |
Latterly as a divisional manger for GE Capital he ran a sales operation with a turnover in excess of forty million pounds. Having established his own company he joined forces with a leading firm of commercial lawyers and played a major roll in the development and launch of an award winning web based debt collection business.
Joining Turner Butler was a significant opportunity to bring into play all the skills gained over the years and utilise them in guiding and advising a broad range of clients with businesses for sale. Rob is based in Stroud in Gloucestershire where he lives with his wife and family. His hobbies include fishing and sprinting classic cars.

David Evans

Background/Experience:
Having started off in engineering, this was followed by many years experience at various levels in commerce and industry, culminating in setting up, running and selling two business ventures. David is uniquely positioned to understand and identify with the needs of other business people wishing to sell the business they have created, understanding the hard work and effort they have invested in it.
This has given him considerable insight to their particular problems, worries and requirements. It has also given him the ability to discuss the purchase of the business with potential buyers, in a more considered and experienced manner. Since coming into this industry several years ago, he has gained tremendous experience and has been very successful and capable in dealing with all business categories, as well as at all levels. This knowledge, broad ranging experience and insight clearly defines David as one of our experienced members of staff. |

Background/Experience:
A business graduate, has enjoyed a highly successful career to date within the commercial/corporate sales arena spanning some 17 years.
Rob has worked with some of the largest blue chip organizations in the world such as UBS, Vodafone and MCI Worldcom providing both standard and bespoke solutions to clients within their IT, networking and telecommunications sectors. |

His experience includes the effective management of mission critical roll-out projects, from securing the business via commercial tendering and presentation to initial design and specification through to final manufacture and deployment, in many cases on a pan European scale.
Rob further developed and enhanced these skills by successfully running his own company for 7 years prior to joining the team at Turner Butler. His company provided bespoke IT infrastructure products to clients who required a unique product with quick turnaround and extremely high levels of service. This was achieved through strategic partnering, goodwill and excellent communication. This ability to fulfill clients’ requirements effectively and personally has positioned Rob well in his current role at Turner Butler.

David Hudson

Background/Experience:
David is an experienced executive with a wide range of commercial knowledge at senior level.
Before joining Turner Butler, he worked in the Sports/Leisure industry for over 25 years, in senior positions, for some of the worlds largest Blue chip companies, including Hi-Tec Sports and Puma. Being a senior manager for such operations gives David a thorough knowledge of businesses, both financial and logistical, and enables him to establish and value the needs of other companies. This experience enables David to give both vendors and buyers alike a comprehensive understanding of how Turner Butler can help with your particular business needs. |
Over a period of time David has handled a number of different business sectors including, Engineering, Textiles, Food Manufacture, Retail, Travel, Haulage, Property Development and Automotive and many more.
Based in West Yorkshire, where he lives with his wife,son & daughter, David is a keen golfer and enjoys watching most sports.
