Rupert Cattell

Background/Experience:
Rupert is the Managing Director of Turner Butler, one of the United Kingdom’s largest Business Brokers for mid-sized businesses, with six regional offices in the United Kingdom. Rupert is a qualified commercial solicitor with over 30 years experience in corporate finance and business sales, having set up and managed the second largest business brokerage in the country. Having sold many thousands of businesses, Rupert is known as an expert in the sale of all types of businesses and his expertise and comments are often quoted in the National Press. Rupert believes in providing professional business brokerage and company valuations for business owners wishing to sell quickly, confidentially and for the maximum value. Rupert holds a Bachelor of Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia and is a keen sportsman, particularly rowing, when not spending time with his family. |
Shaun Sweeney

Background/Experience:
Shaun Sweeney is the chairman and founder of Turner Butler, one of the United Kingdoms largest Business Brokers for mid-sized businesses, with nine regional offices in the UK and many hundreds of successfully completed transactions. Prior to founding Turner Butler, Shaun started, developed and sold four successful businesses over a sixteen year period, the experience of selling them prompted him to enter the merger and acquisition profession. Having had first hand experience regarding all of the challenges associated with buying, operating and selling a business, he believes in careful planning to address all of the special needs involved in any transaction. He believes that giving appropriate attention to the needs of both buyers and sellers ensures a smooth and timely completion. He enjoys working with qualified and motivated clients, many of whom are referred to him by previous clients, professionals and friends. Tony Bell
Regional Manager

Background/Experience:
A finance and stats based Business Studies graduate and an ex main Board Director of one of the UK's leading West End advertising agencies, Tony joined Turner Butler in 2004 after establishing his own Business Consultancy working primarily with the owners of small and medium sized businesses in business planning, finance, marketing and advertising. During his eight years with Turner Butler, Tony has handled deals of all shapes and sizes, across all sectors – from boat charter to wholesale heating and plumbing with transactions of all sizes. |
Major account experience included the BAA, RAC, Gallaher International, Telewest Communications, Travelex and a wide range of small and medium sized businesses.
After leaving in early 2002 to take a year out to be with his young family, Tony started his own broad ranging Business Consultancy aimed at the small and medium sized business sector before joining Turner Butler in 2004. In just over two years Tony has handled sales ranging from boat charter to wholesale heating and plumbing with transactions ranging from 100,000 GBP to in excess of 4m GBP.
Robert Dancey

Background/Experience:
Rob has worked with some of the largest blue chip organizations in the world such as UBS, Vodafone and MCI Worldcom providing both standard and bespoke solutions to clients within their IT, networking and telecommunications sectors. His experience includes the effective management of mission critical roll-out projects, from securing the business via commercial tendering and presentation to initial design and specification through to final manufacture and deployment, in many cases on a pan European scale. Rob further developed and enhanced these skills by successfully running his own company for 7 years prior to joining the team at Turner Butler. His company provided bespoke IT infrastructure products to clients who required a unique product with quick turnaround and extremely high levels of service. This was achieved through strategic partnering, goodwill and excellent communication. This ability to fulfill clients’ requirements effectively and personally has positioned Rob well in his current role at Turner Butler. |
